Shameless plug for the bootcamp

Shameless plug for the bootcamp

It's been a while since I've posted on the forum. I've been busy getting my first park stabalized. If you haven't attended the Boot Camp Dave and Frank put on you should. It has saved me thousands of dollars and lots of time and mistakes. I can't imagine what I would have screwed up without that info. With the boot camp info I've increased the cash flow of my park and improved the overall value tremendously.
I'll be closing on my second park here pretty quick. Just 1.5 years ago I first learned about this niche of real estate. Thanks to Dave and Frank I've been put on the fast track to success.
Go to the Boot Camp. It's worth it!

Tyler,

I appreciate the shameless plug. I appreciate it and also am glad you were able to purchase the first one and are working on number 2.

Hopefully for our fall bootcamp we can do it in Ohio and come by and see your progress.

If you are in Ohio you are welcome to use my park. That would be great. It will give me a good excuse to come to another bootcamp. I want to go with an owners perspective. Last time it was completely from a finding a park perspective and I'm sure I will learn more the second time around.

Having been on staff for several years at a similar all-meat Bootcamp - teaching 125-150 students two and three times each year - I can tell you it is the best training by far - hands on and real meat info.

However, the best value of a bootcamp is the relationships you create and nourish.

Nearly every one of the staff I staffed with are still tight 'brothers'. We talk - often weekly or more, we consult with each other, we visit each other (all over the world) - and we are financial friends with each other. This is since 2002. Can you imagine the value of that? You can't even put a price on that.

Go to every Bootcamp you can.

As long as we are being shameless, I can give you my promise that if you buy a mobile home park without attending our boot camp, you will be very sorry for several reasons:

1) you may have picked the wrong type of park to buy
2) you won't have negotiated the best price
3) you may have missed something huge in due diligence
4) you may have missed a second chance to negotiate the price
5) you won't be operating it as well as you could

Each of these items can cost you 10 to 100 times the cost of the boot camp.

I'm not kidding on this.

Tyler,
I am so excited your into this with both feet. The bootcamps are great no matter your level of time in the industry as you see and hear things with mature ears, and new stuff just seems to appear in every event.

I hope someday we can have a alumni weekend where updates can be presented on strategy's for finding, pricing, negotiating , financing and operating parks.

Touch base if your in Colorado...

Jim,
I just saw your response. I haven't been on the forum because I've been, as my wife puts it, galavanting around the world. Made possible by hte bootcamp of course. Otherwise I'd be stuck in Ohio dealing with crap.
I'd love to have an alumni event somewhere. I'd be there for sure.
BTW I've got a couple questions. I'll send you an email.
